Best base layer I've ever worn

Picked one of these up from BikeTiresDirect a few months ago and have worn it through the Bay Area winter. It never gets super cold here, but can be downright chilly at the beginning of a ride that starts at 630-700am. I have found this base layer, along with a regular cycling jersey and a pair of thermal arm warmers, is the perfect upper-half combination for the winter conditions here, my core is never cold, moisture is wicked away quickly to avoid getting the chills, and when the temps rise (sometimes by 20 degrees around here!) a couple of hours into the ride, this base layer doesn't leave you feeling overheated.

This is also a good choice of top while riding an indoor trainer or in a spin class - feather-light and feels dry, even when you're sweating buckets.

As far as durability, I only have one right now and wear it 2-3 times a week, machine-washing (in warm water, with the rest of the kit) and tumble-drying it (on low heat) it after each ride. So far it still looks like new, but I'll probably switch to line-drying (with the rest of the kit) once I have a few more in the gear drawer.

thin and light

Good quality product, a lighter and more breathable layer than your typical lycra cycling jersey.
