The solution is here...the Midcap. It easily fits under both your cycling cap and helmet, and that chill will just be a memory. It helps that sweat laden cotton cap with moisture control and keeps those ears toasty. Many a day the arrival at those 5000 to 8000 ft summits, which seems temperate on the way up, becomes a real bone chiller on those 6 to 10 mile descents. The lifesaver is the Midcap. It is amazing what this tiny piece of clothing is capable of. Get before you become Mr. Freeze!

I bought this, thinking it might fill the gap between my Descente neoprene head cap (good for temps from the 20's into the 50's), my thinner neoprene cap (I forget the brand) and the various cloth doo rags I wear. Was I ever wrong. It doesn't cover your ears, and I only find it useful in a very narrow range of temps (50's - 60's). Below those temps, it's worthless. The description should indicate that Cool Max simply feels like very thin cotton. It also fits poorly, only covering the very tops of my ears. BY no means is it ear covering as the description states.
