Description Castelli has updated their classic windproof, waterproof and thermal bootie for better stretch and even better wet weather protection.
The Pioggia 3 Shoe Cover features a PU-coated waterproof exterior and is seam sealed to eliminate leaks. A waterproof zipper, NanoFlex upper closure and slightly taller ankle design further your protection on the wettest rides.
Added touches like a thin fleece lining to keep feet warm without overheating, reinforced toe and cleat areas for extra durability, and reflective details for low light visibility live up to the standard set by Castelli's elite Rosso Corsa clothing line.

I bought these for a new years day century
1000 miles later, still going strong. I have not taken these off my shoes since I bought them. Temp ranges from 25 to 50. Not the warmest, but they cut the wind really well. I can definately recommend

Very Good Cover
This is a high quality shoe cover, I've worn them down to 32 degrees with a good wool sock and my feet were fine. They do a great job blocking the wind. I have not ridden in the rain yet so I can not attest to the waterproof part. They do run small, I wear a 41.5 and got the medium and they just barely fit over my shoes.

Don't buy them if you have big feet
It would not be fair for me to assign any stars. The covers look really nice but the largest size is still too small for my bike shoes. If you wear anything bigger than about a US size 10 or maybe 11, look elsewhere. I returned the covers and got a full refund, kudos to Bike Tires Direct. I gave it 5 stars because of Bike Tires Direct's refund policy.

Well made, great functionality and look better than you might expect from the picture.
I have only had a chance to use these while on training rides and commuting, however they fit very well and do an excellent job of keeping the water exchange to a minimum so the feet stay warm. I had another pair that were bulkier and did not do as well in keeping my feet warm. The construction detail is nice to see, something I would expect to last for years if taken good care of. I was a little skeptical about the price but I have purchased Castelli clothing before and like it, so I went with these. They are definitely a great deal. I only give them four stars because they were not ridiculously cheap.
