Assos T FI. Uno S5 Bib Short

I consider myself a serious rider but not a racer. Most rides are 25 to 45 miles in length. These shorts are the most comfortable I've found and I've paid more or other brands not as comfortable. So far they are the best. You won't be dissapointed.

I tried my first pair of Assos shorts about five years ago when I read the raves about the FI.13 short in one of the cycling forums. They seemed rediculously expensive at the time, but I thought I'd give them a try.

Not only were they much more comfortable than the various Pearl Izumi and Castelli shorts I'd tried, but they lasted significantly longer. I have to say, you definitely get what you pay for with Assos. I've since purchased numerous Assos items and have not yet been disappointed with the comfort or quality.

I thought these were really expensive, but after reading the Bicycling Magazine review, I decided to give them a try. They're worth every penny. Not only are they very comfortable, the materials and construction quality is the best I've seen. I've thrown them in the wash a couple dozen times now, and they still look virtually new.

...and you don't have to buy the $300 version. This bottom of the line short is going to open your eyes to just how comfortable and handsome you can be when you don't have your lame other shorts awkwardly wrapped around you. I recently talked a buddy into splurging on a pair of these and he bought two more pairs a month later.

When I first tried these bibs I really liked them, it wasn't until I switched back to my LG shorts for a ride when I realized I LOVE them. They are so nice! I am 6'2 and the XL is perfect. I was a bit worried because I only have a 33-34 waist, and I thought because they went up to 38 they would be loose, but they ended up fitting like a glove. Coupled with the Assos Chamois Cream these bad boys keep your nether regions smiling for well over 100 miles.

I am planning on buying another set so I don't have to do laundry so often.

I gave 4 stars on the value rating, because although I think they are a good deal and worth the money, their are some other bibs half the price that are not necessarily half the quality. Basically, they are worth it, but I think bring them down to the $175 range before they become a steal.

These shorts are expensive, but the comfort over the shorts I've been wearing (crappy team sublimation) is amazing.

I can't wear anything else now, so I had to buy two more pairs.

Pricey, but my taint has never been happier.

Very comfy bibs! These are my favorite, by far. But I do have a little trouble justifying $300, or so, for spandex but by far the best I have ever tried on. I selected the whiteblack combo. The white is partially see-through - might not be your best choice for those of you who wear pink underwear OO
